American army Staff Sergeant Frank Tia'i has been remembered as a fearless soldier at a funeral service in American Samoa.
Sergeant Tia'i was killed in Iraq last week.
During the service in Samoana the reservist soldier was also remembered as a police officer.
The service was attended by senior military officers, including the Ambassador of the US Army Reserve, Pasha Baker, members of the territorial government and his former colleagues at the Department of Public Safety.
