A second case of measles has been confirmed in Nelson, and Nelson Marlborough Public Health Service says it's linked to the first.
A person with the illness was recently reported in Nelson following an outbreak in Waikato, where a group of students had visited.
Medical Officer of Health Andrew Lindsay said the second case had been found in one of four people in isolation who had been in contact with the first case.
The other three people had come out of isolation having not developed any symptoms.
Regional GPs remain on alert to the possibility of more cases.
