Five people in New Zealand have begun a course of antibiotics after being in contact with an Australian woman who died from meningococcal disease.
The five are from the Waikato and Mid-Central district health board regions.
They were contacted by public health services following the woman's death in Sydney and offered treatment in case of exposure to the illness.
All had been in close household contact with her.
