The Bulldogs halfback Brett Kimmorley claims his cheekbone is as strong as it was before he suffered a triple fracture as he prepares for his comeback in Friday night's National Rugby League preliminary final against Parramatta.
Kimmorley suffered the injury against the Warriors three weeks ago and has had a couple of metal plates inserted.
He says he's confident he'll be right to take on the Eels in the grand final qualifier after getting through two vigorous training sessions in the past couple of days.
