A person has died after it appears a boat flipped over at Manukau Heads, Auckland.

Police say there were called out to the scene about 9.05pm today, and initial indications suggest the boat overturned.
Two other people were taken to Middlemore Hospital with minor injuries.
Police say they are working to establish the circumstances.
