The number of people using Auckland's trains is continuing to break records.
On Monday the annual total for passenger trips passed 13 million for the first time, an annual growth of 19 percent to the end of February.
Auckland Transport said trains were now carrying 10,000 more customers on a normal weekday than at this time last year.
It said significant growth had been recorded on both the Onehunga and Eastern Lines which now run only electric trains.
