Police are looking for a person who may have fresh burn injuries after a van exploded in Hamilton.
A van parked on Moore St in Hamilton caught fire after an explosion at about 11.15pm on Saturday night.
When the explosion and fire occurred, a person was seen standing near the van's open door, police said.
They then walked quickly away from the van towards the Minogue Park area.
Police said the person was likely to have sustained burns and there were concerns for their wellbeing.
Anyone who witnessed the fire, or knew someone with recently sustained unexplained burn injuries, was encouraged to contact police.
