Team New Zealand have advanced to the final of the America's Cup challenger series after beating Britain's BAR 5-2 in their semi-finals.
Team New Zealand won Race 7 - today's third and final race in Bermuda - to seal their place in the final.
They'll meet either Sweden's Artemis or Dean Barker's Team Japan. Japan and Artemis are tied three races all, with one race remaining today.
Look back at how the race unfolded here.
New Zealand helmsman Peter Burling won the first encounter of the day with the team back on the water after a near-catastrophic capsize during racing in high winds on Tuesday.
The New Zealanders had to overcome a daggerboard problem in the leadup to the first race.
BAR sailed a near-perfect race in the second clash, holding off a New Zealand challenge as his crew finally managed to match their opponents for speed.
In the last race of the day, Team New Zealand led from start to finish, winning by 46 seconds.
"Full credit to our shore crew and everyone who pitched in just to get us back out here and get the boat pretty much working 100 per cent," Burling said.
"In that second race we missed a few shifts and were too conservative at the start.
"In the third race we knew what we had to do."
Ainslie says his team improved across the regatta but left their run too late.
"We struggled coming into this with a lack of speed for a number of different reasons," he said.
"The whole team has dug so deep to get us more competitive, to the point where there wasn't a lot of difference between the teams today."
The best of nine race challenger final series starts on Sunday.
