British police have arrested a man who tried to enter Buckingham Palace with a knife.
Officers say the man was stopped straight away as he attempted to get through a gate into the grounds of the Queen's London residence.
The knife was found when he was searched.
The man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site and possessing an offensive weapon.
Buckingham Palace says the Queen was not home at the time.
The incident follows the arrest last month of a man on suspicion of burglary, trespass and criminal damage, after climbing over a fence to get into the palace.
