De Villiers not drawing too much from Super 14 success

The Springbok coach Peter de Villiers says he can't draw a comparison between South Africa's success in the Super 14 to how his side will go in the Tri-Nations of even next year's World Cup.

The defending champion Bulls top the table with the Stormers second heading into this weekend's final round of matches.

De Villiers has been in New Zealand on World Cup reconnaissance and says the Bulls and Stormers contain most of his international players, while the Australian and New Zealand players are more spread among their respective franchises.

However he is happy to see a couple of South African teams leading the way... saying winning is always good for players, a team and a country.
