Papua New Guinea remain winless at the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier after a narrow seven run defeat against Scotland at the weekend.
After putting Scotland into bat in Colombo, PNG struck early, with Mairi Tom dismissing Sarah Bryce for a three-ball duck in the second over of the match.
A 59-run stand between Kari Anderson and Rachel Scholes took the Scots to 102 for 3 before they were eventually dismissed for 169 on the last ball of the innings.
PNG captain Pauke Siaka was the star performer in the field, snaring the final six wickets of the innings to notch career-best figures of 6 for 19 in just seven overs.

The Lewas made an impressive start to their run-chase, with Tanya Ruma (32) and Brenda Tau (46) putting on 72 runs for the opening wicket in 23.3 overs.
Run-outs proved costly for the East Asia Pacific champions, with Ruma and captain Siaka both found short of their crease, reducing PNG to 89 for 2 in the 31st over.
A steady fall of wickets in the middle order saw the PNG collapse to 5/106 and the Lewas were eventually dismissed for 162 in the final over.
PNG lost their first two pool matches against Bangladesh and Pakistan and are back in action this afternoon against South Africa.
