A ute found in a lake is believed have been driven by missing Waikato woman Kim Richmond before she disappeared almost a year ago.

The 42-year-old was last seen driving south from her Arohena home on 31 July 2016.
The police dive squad found the silver 20-14 ford ranger ute at Lake Arapuni today.
They said specialist equipment would be brought in tomorrow to help salvage the vehicle, which will then be forensically examined.
