An investigation is underway into a fire at a Cook Islands resort on Aitutaki.

The fire at the Lagoon Beach Resort and Spa destroyed several bungalows and a bar.
The management at the resort said they will wait until investigations into the cause of the fire are completed before commenting publicly.
