Police have seized guns, ammunition, and drugs following a traffic stop outside a Lower Hutt home.
At 11.30pm Sunday a car was seen driving erratically and came to a stop outside a house in the suburb of Naenae.
One of two men in the car was found to be in breach of their bail, leading to a search of their car and the nearby home where firearms, ammunition, cannabis plants and methamphetamine were found.
Two men, aged 48 and 45, are appearing in Hutt Valley District Court on charges including possession of cannabis for supply and unlawful possession of firearms.
