Two teenagers have been arrested in relation to the stabbing of a liquor store owner in Auckland.
Neighbours ran to help Sarabjit Sing him as he was being attacked by three men just before 10pm on Sunday in a carpark outside his shop in Manurewa.
Mr Singh is in a stable condition in Middlemore Hospital.
The pair arrested, aged 16 and 18, face aggravated robbery, theft and aggravated injury charges, along with a 19-year-old male held earlier this week.
Police said at the time of the attack that while they did not encourage the public to become involved in such incidents, it appeared the intervention may have diverted attention from the shop owner.
