England Rugby League has been forced to apologise for the behaviour of one of its players after a video emerged online of him trashing a Dunedin flat on Friday night.
Team manager Jon Roberts said Josh Hodgson will face disciplinary action for crashing through a door on purpose. The video was posted on YouTube.
He said players were given permission to go out after their defeat by New Zealand.
Management are looking at all footage of the incident and would not say if or how many other players may be investigated.
Roberts said the English team had made arrangements for the repair of damage to the flat.
