The president of the firm behind a closed casino and hotel resort on Rota in the Northern Marianas says he is keen to revive the venture.
The president of Rota Treasure Island Casino and Hotel Watanabe Masahiro says he is still interested in investing on Rota and one of the ways to do that is to reopen the casino.
The firm is one of two casino license holders on Rota but the resort closed down a few years ago.
Mr Masahiro says he recently brought along Korean investors who are looking to invest in a golf course on the island near the casino and hotel.
