There are two new cases of Covid-19 in managed isolation facilities and two historical cases identified at the border.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said there were no cases of the novel coronavirus in the community.
Two previously reported cases from Monday were reclassified as "under investigation" and removed from the ally of confirmed cases.
Three previously reported cases have now recovered, bringing the number of active cases in New Zealand to 29.
"Since 1 January 2021, there have been 114 historical cases, out of a total of 706 cases. This is an increase of three cases including two cases reported today and a previously reported case from 19 July which has been reclassified as historical," MOH said in a statement.
"The seven-day rolling average of new cases detected at the border is two. Our total number of confirmed cases is 2523."
The total number of Covid-19 tests processed by laboratories to date is 2,499,704 and yesterday, 7873 tests were processed across New Zealand.
