The repatriation of foreigners stranded in Fiji because of the Covid-19 outbreak continues today with a flight from Nadi to New Caledonia.
A Fiji Airways plane was due to bring New Caledonian residents, French citizens and other Europeans to Noumea.
For the return flight the Red Cross in New Caledonia was readying relief supplies to be given to Fiji's victims of Cyclone Harold.
New Caledonia's repatriation programme also seen a flight from French Polynesia arriving in Noumea on Easter Sunday.
Flights from Paris to Noumea were expected to start this week.
New Caledonia has so far recorded 18 Covid-19 cases, but none over the past week.
To stop the spread of the virus, lockdown provisions first declared in late March, had been extended until 19 April.
