A new report released by the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission says New Zealand is becoming less welcoming to Pacific people.

The report found from 2018 to 2021, there was a 71 per cent increase in the likelihood that Pacific peoples would experience racist discrimination and Pacific people are finding it harder to be themselves.

RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham spoke to the reports lead author, Dr Ella Cullen.
