Wales crush Namibia

Wales dealt Namibia another beating in yesterday's only World Cup rugby match, rewriting their record book with an 81-7 win over Namibia last night in New Plymouth.

Scott Williams scored a hattrick of tries and Wales' 19-year-old winger George North became the youngest-ever World Cup tryscorer, lifting their spirits ahead of their crunch pool match against Fiji on Sunday.

Namibia held Wales to 22-nil at halftime, but they wilted in the second half of their final pool match which was scheduled only four days after they'd leaked more than 80 points to the defending champion South Africans.

Namibia are on their way home after playing all four pool games in 17 days.
