Police investigating after house shot at in South Auckland

Police are investigating after two homes in Auckland were shot at overnight.

A shooting in the suburb of Weymouth was reported to police at 12.31am on Tuesday.

They said a gun was believed to have been fired towards a house on Bernina Place.

"Thankfully, no injuries were reported to those who were in the address at the time.

"Enquiries are now ongoing at the address to determine the full circumstances of what has occurred including who is responsible."

A police spokesperson said they were also looking into an incident in Manurewa.

"Around 10.15pm Police responded to reports of a firearm being discharged towards a residential address on Roscommon Road.

"No injuries were reported to a number of people who were inside the property at the time."

Police wanted to hear from anyone with information.
