The Blues have convincingly won the Battle of the Bombays, 25-0, over the Chiefs at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton.
The Aucklanders sneaked home 24-22 five weeks ago after Bryn Gatland missed a late chance to win it for the Chiefs.
Much interest centred on the return of Blues playmaker Beauden Barrett after he suffered another blow to the head in his first start for the season against the Highlanders. It added to worries over his future after he announced he had been troubled by severe headaches over the summer.
