The All Blacks coach Graham Henry has named six new recruits in the side to play the test against Ireland in Wellington on Saturday night
One of those is New Zealand born Samoan Rudi Wulf who thought his rugby career had come to an end in 2005 when he broke his neck after diving into a shallow pool.
The accident came on the eve of his trip with the New Zealand Under 21 side to the IRB rugby world cup in Argentina.
However, the 24-year old says since the accident his goal has always been to wear the black jersey.
"Didn't know when my first step was to be back in Blues because I missed playing for the Blues after my first year there in 2005 and just with the news making the All Blacks was even better"
