Police have arrested a man after about 5kg of cannabis was found when he was pulled over on an expressway yesterday.
Police said the driver, who was travelling on the expressway on the outskirts of Cambridge, was pulled over about 5.15pm yesterday.
They said they noticed a strong smell of cannabis when speaking to the him.
After a search of the vehicle, police said they found 111 bagged ounces of cannabis and another 1.8kg of cannabis heads - about 5kg in total.
A 33-year-old man is set to appear in the Hamilton District Court on drug-related charges.
