Tonight was the final broadcast for TV3's flagship current affairs show, Campbell Live and its host John Campbell.
Last week MediaWorks announced it was axing the show, following a review sparked by declining viewer numbers.
The last show focussed on some of the people in the hundreds of episodes the Campbell Live team produced, on issues that included child poverty, the Christchurch rebuild and the Pike River mine disaster.
And closed with John Campbell thanking viewers and his team.
The programme is being replaced with a new current affairs show four nights a week, starting in six to eight weeks.
Mediaworks has previously said that John Campbell declined an offer to be one of the co-hosts and will be leaving the company.
