The American Samoa-based carrier, Samoa Air, says as Air New Zealand agents in the territory it has now opened a Air New Zealand Office at Pago Pago International Airport.
The head of Samoa Air, Andre Lavigne, says the move is part of plans to provide improved services.
A Samoa Air staff member has been trained at Air New Zealand's office in neighbouring Samoa in preparation for the opening of the local office.
