Several fire teams including two helicopters have been working to bring a scrub fire under control on the outskirts of Oamaru this morning.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the fire, which covered about three hectares and involved scrub and pine, was not yet under control.
The spokesperson said conditions in the area were very windy.
The fire was in Reservoir Road and spread to the Glen Warren Reserve.
