Defence Minister Gerry Brownlee is refusing to say whether or not international defence and intelligence leaders are meeting this week in Queenstown.
Media reports suggest the annual meeting of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance made up of agencies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, is being held in Queenstown.
There has been incraesed security in Queenstown and a private jet that has been linked to the American CIA landed at Wellington Airport on Friday.
Asked if it was a Five Eyes meeting, the Minister Gerry Brownlee told TVNZ's Q+A that the fuss could be over a Bollywood actor in town.
