One person has died and another is seriously injured following a two vehicle crash in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty.
The injured person had been taken to hospital in a serious condition, police said.
The crash at the intersection of Strang Road and Te Puke Highway was reported about 5.50pm.
The intersection is closed and diversions are in place.
