Waitematā police have recovered stolen property and arrested a man in West Auckland today.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with receiving stolen property and is due to appear in the Waitakere District Court at a later date.
The search warrants were executed as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged aggravated robbery that occurred at a jewellery store on Hurstmere Rd in Takapuna on 16 June.
Takapuna Business Association chief executive Terrence Harper told Checkpoint men armed with what appeared to be crow bars broke into Michael Hill Jewellery at about 4.30pm on 16 June before filling two bags with jewellery and making a get-away in a stolen car.
Police said enquiries were ongoing and they could not rule out further arrests or charges being laid.
