New Zealand Post sees its new online shopping mall in China as a game-changer for the parcel and post company.
NZ Post e-commerce manager Sohail Choudhry said its new relationship with Alibaba, the world's largest online trading company, is part of the company's increasing focus on parcels and e-commerce.
Mr Choudry said its presence on TMall Global offers New Zealand companies an opportunity to expand into China, with the support of New Zealand Post's end-to-end supply chain management.
He said the response to last week's soft launch of the online mall was incredible, with one exporter selling out of most everything within 24 hours.
NZ Post and its two other export partners had similar sales success.
