When Mike Leach turned 21, his parents brought him a one-way ticket to Canada so he could indulge in his love of bike racing. That was in 1989. Since then he has got married, had two kids and still calls Canada home. He now runs a construction business, called Kiwi Mike's Renos and last year built his own house in Ottawa, which is an uncommon thing to do there.
