The 22-year-old fled while being transferred from Middlemore Hospital back to prison in handcuffs just over a week ago.

Several search warrants were executed in Counties Manukau overnight and a woman was charged with being an accessory after the fact.

She and three others also face firearms charges and a man has been arrested for breach of conditions.

They are all due to appear in the Manukau District Court today.

Police are reminding anyone helping Epiha to evade capture that they risk being prosecuted.

They say Epiha is considered dangerous and should not be approached by the public, but people should phone 111 immediately if they see her or have information about where she is.

Epiha has large distinctive tattoos on both sides of her face, and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved top with a white shirt underneath, grey track pants and light pink running shoes.
