Police have confirmed a body found on Waiheke Island on Monday is that of a man who was reported missing late last month.

Erno Bedo, who was 73, lived on a boat moored in Oneroa Bay.
He was last seen about a week before he was reported missing.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
