The schedule of New Caledonia's international airline continues to be affected by an open-ended pilots' strike.

The lastest change is the cancellation of today's planned Air Calin flight from Noumea to Papeete in French Polynesia.

Services to Australia, Wallis and Vanuatu have also been hit by the labour dispute which flared up on Thursday.

Air Vanuatu added an additional flight to accommodate travellers stuck by the strike.

Flights to New Zealand and Japan have been operated but some have been run with delays.

There is no end in sight to the conflict.
