Dairy prices continued to rise in Fonterra's latest online auction held overnight on Tuesday.
International whole milk prices rose 1.2%, with the average sale price for all its products now $US3960 per tonne.
In December, Fonterra raised its forecast payout for the current season by 30 cents because of strong international dairy prices.
