New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko comes in at number 81 on a list of 100 most famous sports people in the world, compiled by US sports network ESPN.
The 19-year-old world number one has won two majors and has earnings of almost $15 million.
She was the eighth highest woman on the list.
ESPN devised a formula to find the most famous sportspeople by combining salary and endorsements with social media following and Google search popularity.
Portugese fotballer Cristiano Ronaldo was number one, followed by American basketballer LeBron James and Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi.
The rest of the top ten is Neymar, Roger Federer, Kevin Durant, Tiger Woods, Virat Kohli, James Rodriguez and Rafael Nadal.
The only women ahead of Ko are Maria Sharapova at 18, Rhonda Rousey at 23, Serena Williams at 25, Sania Mirza at 41, Alex Morgan at 55, Danica Patrick at 63 and Venus Williams at 74.
