There are fears of more flight disruptions in New Caledonia from tomorrow night until Friday as French air traffic controllers are poised to go on strike.
The territory's domestic carrier, Air Caledonie, has warned of possible changes to its schedules, should the stoppage be followed in Noumea.
Aircalin, which is the international carrier, has delayed flights to Wallis, Australia and New Zealand in view of the strike warning.
The carrier has also decided to take legal action against the controllers' recent weekend strikes, with its director saying the strikes were timed to only disrupt Aircalin flights.
