Police have revealed the two people who were found dead at an address in the Auckland suburb of Kelston were a mother and her newborn baby.

Emerald Waiari Tai, aged 27, and Tanatui Samuels, aged 3 days, were found dead by ambulance staff at about 9.30am yesterday.
Police said their enquiries indicated there were no suspicious circumstances in this matter.
"This event is an absolute tragedy and police send their sympathies to the family at this difficult time."
Post-mortem examinations have been carried out today.
The case will be referred to the Coroner.
