One person has been taken to Palmerston North Hospital in a serious condition following a chemical spill at the Levin Aquatic Centre.
Fire and Emergency crews have now neutralised the chemical spill at the centre, and are cleaning up.
About 30 people were evacuated from the pool, located on the corner of Queen and Salisbury Streets, after two chemicals mixed and reacted inside the complex just before midday.
The spill was reported to be inside the complex, not in the water.
A St John spokesperson said 32 patients were assessed.
Police cordons in place have now been reduced.
