One person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Dargaville.
The crash on Notorious West Drive was reported to police at about 8.20am.
The person was found dead inside the vehicle when emergency services arrived
The crash has since been cleared and no road blocks remain place.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
Earlier today, a truck and trailer unit carrying heavy machinery caught fire on State Highway 27 in Matamata, blocking the road.
Northbound and southbound lanes were closed for a time.
