Two new dengue cases reported after Arts Festival

Two members of the Guam delegation to the 10th festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa are reported to have contracted dengue fever.

Last week, the American Samoa Department of Health issued a warning about dengue fever after two people with the disease were seen at the LBJ Hospital.

One was a festival performer from Samoa.

Guam health officials say there are no cases reported of the most serious from of dengue, called dengue hemorrhagic fever.
