Williamson praises fellow century maker

Fluent centuries by Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor have powered New Zealand to a 2-1 lead in the five-match one-day cricket series against England.

The dual tons led the Black Caps to a comfortable three-wicket win over England in the third one-dayer in Southampton.

Batting first England were bowled out for 302 as they lost their last five wickets for just 14 runs.

The Black Caps openers departed cheaply before Williamson and Taylor took the game away from the hosts with a clinical 206-run third-wicket stand.

Williamson says Taylor's knock was superb.

"It was great to form that partnership with Ross who batted outstandingly to take the game deep. He was a bit frustrated not to be there at the end or one of us anyway but the guys that came in you know formed the little partnerships that were required to get us across the line."

Game four is at Trent Bridge on Wednesday night.
