US band Blink-182 have cancelled their upcoming Christchurch show, just two weeks ahead of the event taking place.
The cancellation of the show, which was supposed to take place on March 4 at Wolfbrook Arena, was announced in an email to ticket holders on Thursday.
"Unfortunately, the blink-182 Christchurch performance has been cancelled due to unanticipated logistical issues outside of the band's control," the statement read.
"Event organisers join the band and fans in being very disappointed and regret any inconvenience that this cancellation has caused."
The band's NZ-leg of their reunion tour was first announced in 2022, before being later rescheduled due to fast-selling Australian tickets that saw the band add four more dates to their tour leg across the ditch.
The punk rockers were originally due to play Christchurch on February 26, now the date of their Auckland concert which is still being held.
Prior to news of the cancellation, Blink-182's supporting act, rock band Rise Against, had announced their own headline show on March 4 at Christchurch's Town Hall.
