Police say they are treating a fire that caused extensive damage to a north Auckland cafe as suspicious.
Several fire crews responded to the blaze at Sunflour in Orewa shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday night.
Fire and Emergency was investigating.
In a social media post, Sunflour's owners said the cafe was broken into and set alight.

They said they were devastated and working on getting the premises repaired as quickly as possible.
