The Auckland Art Gallery is launching a digital exhibition on its website, so anyone in the world can peer behind its closed doors.
A major exhibition called Enchanted Worlds showing the paintings of the Edo period in Japan is now available online.
The exhibition was open just two weeks before the physical gallery had to shut.
Now people can view the works - painted over 250 years from 1603 - on their computer or smartphone, along with insights and facts from curators.
A virtual tour takes viewers through the gallery to see the artworks in place.
It's 360-degree images of rooms can be explored and artworks highlighted for closer detail and information, and audio and curator tours are available, too.
The gallery plans to re-open its doors in late June.
