The Pakistan cricket team have missed the chance to post a massive first-innings lead against Australia in the second Test at the SCG.
A century partnership between openers Imran Farhat and Salman Butt had the tourists 190 for two at tea on day two after Australia were skittled for just 127.
But they fell to 331 for nine by stumps, a lead of 204 with a wicket and three days remaining.
Australia lead the three-match series 1-nil.
