Glut of avos in Australia could impact NZ market

Across the Tasman, avocado growers have united in a call to their country folk: eat avos for Australia! A new report by agribusiness bank Rabobank has found that the country's growers will likely produce 22 avocados per Australian this year, up more than a quarter on 2021. And as it's New Zealand's biggest avo market, the Aussie Avo Overload will have a big impact here, too. Nathan Rarere discussed this with avocado grower and Avocados Australia chairman Jim Kochi from his orchard in Far North Queensland. He asked, why so many avos?
