West Papuan freedom fighter seen as great unifying force

West Papua independence movement leaders say their recent gains would not have been achieved without the late Andy Ayamiseba.

Mr Ayamiseba, who died just late last month in Australia, helped unify major factions in the independence movement. 

His significant achievements in Pacific regional diplomacy followed a successful career as founder and manager of the Black Brothers music group.
